Bill Caylor
Bill Caylor is a lifelong resident of Varnell. He is married  to Dianne for 56 years. He has two children and four grandchildren.
He retired from the carpet industry. His desire is to make Varnell a better place to live.
He wants the citizens of Varnell to love where they live.

Ashlee Godfrey
In 2011, Ashlee Godfrey moved to Varnell. Ashlee is married to Ross Godfrey and they have two kids daughter Hailey who enjoys Cheerleading for the Kodiaks and son Westin who loves dirt bikes.
Ashlee has a degree in Accounting and Finance.
She has a passion and commitment to serving people in our community. She has been an active member of the local community with involvement in Greater Chamber of Dalton, Young Professional, Carpet Capital of Realtors Association, Community Service Committee, Providence Ministries, Alzheimer Association and many other Community Out Reach Programs.

David Owens
David is married to Sherry Owens and has been happily married for 46 years. Their 2 sons, Chris and Brian are married to Brittany and Mandy respectively. They have 3 grandchildren – Trevor, Payton & Shelby Owens.
David has a BS in Finance and Accounting from Shorter College in Rome, GA. He served in the United States Navy and received an Honorable Discharge.
He is a member of National Association of Accountants/North GA. and has served as President. He was a Board Member/Instructor for Junior Achievement.
He is a former member of the Varnell Ruritan Club and a current member of Varnell United Methodist Church.
David is the owner of Capitol Industries, Inc., Cavalier Flooring Products, Dalton Direct Carpets and Calhoun Carpet Outlet
David has served on the Varnell City Council since 1997.

Bob Roche
Bob and his wife Judiann live in Highland Pointe with their Daughter Fiona, and Son Liam.
Judiann is very active with the Coahulla Creek Band Boosters and is a substitute teacher at NWMS and CCHS.
Bob has a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Chemical Engineering, and a Masters of Business Administration degree.
He has experience in multiple industries, and has been in the rug and mat industry for the last fifteen years.
He founded American Green Rug in 2009, and started American Yarn in 2017 to focus on the growing artificial turf market. Bob enjoys running, and helping coach youth sports. He and Judiann are also avid cooks!

Clyde Williams
Clyde was born in Whitfield County and has lived in City of Varnell since 1997. He married his wife, Bridget, in 2002 and they have two children.
Clyde is employed by Whitfield County Public Works and was previously employed by the City of Varnell in garbage service. He is an active member of the community at Maple Grove Baptist Church and the Boy Scouts of America. He volunteered with the Varnell Emergency Management Association, Search and Rescue, and Disaster Planning committees.
He also volunteered with the Varnell Spring Project to improve the community for families and visitors.
Clyde desires the positive growth of the community for the benefit of all Varnell residents as well as the business owners in Varnell while maintaining the small town feel.
